The journal "Bulletin of North Ossetian State University named after K.L. Khetagurov" is included in the VAK list of leading peer-reviewed scientific editions recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia for publishing the main results of dissertations for Ph.D. and doctoral degree by the order of 06 June, 2017.

Registered by the Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Telecom, Information Technologies and Mass Communications (ROSKOMNADZOR). Mass media registration certificate ПИ № ФС 77–75312 of March 15, 2019. The publication is registered with the International Standard Serial Numbering (ISSN 1994-7720 of September 29, 2008).

To increase the international status the Journal entered the international association "PILA", the contract with the nonprofit partnership "NEICON" № CRNA-613-17 of 23 October, 2017 for paid services to connect to the international digital object identifier (DOI) Registration Agency CrossRef. Each article is assigned a digital identifier DOI.

The mission of the journal “Bulletin of North Ossetian State University named after K. L. Khetagurov” is to discuss significant results and achievements of fundamental, and theoretical and applied research in the field of history and archeology, pedagogical and economic sciences.

The purpose of the journal is to provide the scientific community with an opportunity to publish original results of their research, to draw attention to promising and relevant areas of historical, economic and pedagogical sciences.

Journal aims:

• promote scientific exchange and cooperation between Russian and foreign scientists in the field of history, economics, pedagogy, as well as specialists in related fields;
• present the results of scientific research and constructive ideas for the development of historical, economic and pedagogical sciences, as well as innovative methods of teaching them, relevant to the Russian and international scientific community;
• to acquaint readers with the latest trends and theories in the field of research on history, economics and pedagogy, developed both in Russia, the CIS countries, and in foreign countries, and their practical application;
• publish the results of original scientific research on a wide range of topical issues of an interdisciplinary nature.

Journal Topics:

• the journal publishes articles reflecting the latest scientific views, significant results and achievements of fundamental and theoretical and applied research in the field of history, economics and pedagogy;
• in addition to scientific articles, a chronicle of scientific life is published, including reviews, scientific overviews, information about conferences, scientific projects, a chronicle of meetings, symposiums, conferences, seminars, etc.

Only original papers previously not published are accepted for publication. Self-plagiarism is not allowed.

The Journal is international with regard to its editorial board, contributing authors and thematic focus of publications.

Among our authors are leading researchers from Russian universities, as well as institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, leading scientists from the CIS countries, European universities, and universities of Asian countries. Many of our authors are young scientists, graduate students, researchers, etc.

The Journal is published quarterly (4 issues per year).
